My son and his wife have 2 precious girls. Their mother is a Vet at Hillside Clinic so I have been babysitting for the past 7 yrs. My daughter is expecting a baby in February 2010. From 1969-1980 I was in the club and restaurant business. First as a waitress, then a bartender, then a manager and part owner. Started working at the Adolphus hotel in Dallas to save money to pay for college, but soon decided it was more fun to work and make money than go to school. The company I worked for in Dalas moved me to Austin to open a new restuarant and club in 1979. I fell in love with Austin, decided to stay and change professions. I went to school to get my real estate license, specialized in Condo's and townhomes, Contracted with developers and managed several project from construction to sell out. I met my husband Steve at a country western dance club called "Dallas". We married in 1981, had our son (C.J.) in 1982. Soon after, I quit real estate and started my own home based business so I could be a stay at home Mom and still make money. Once C.J. was a senior in high school, I went to work at Dell in 2000 as a sales rep. I currently work Executive Escalations for Michael Dell's office, the Attorney General and the BBB.
