I spend my time with family, friends and trying to help others. After graduation, I went to school, got married and moved south and have been here ever since. I retired 3 years ago from my 25 year career wtih the IRS (I know!) so I can spend more time with my 3 grown kids and 5.5 grandkids. I haven't been in Lakewood since my brother's 35th class reunion at Lakewood Theater, (class of 67). I hardly recognized the area and almost didn't find Woodrow at all. Worked at SMU as the payroll asst. manager, then at Booz Allen & Hamilton as their financial analyst. We are committed already for those August dates. What have you been doing the last 40 years?: Well, let's see...after college, I went back to Dallas to work for a law firm downtown. I met my first husband, Doug, while he was still at NTSU and we married in 1978. He was from East Texas and we eventually moved there for his work. We had a son in 1979 and a daughter was born in 1982. Doug was killed in an accident in 1990. The children and I moved to Longview in 1995 and they completed high school there. I have worked at LeTourneau University since 1998 and enjoy interaction with students as an Academic Advisor. In 2004 Ray Chitwood and I married at the pretty little chapel here on our campus. We enjoy our church, traveling when we can and being with the children...Stephen is in Austin and Courtney is not far away in Tyler for now - neither married yet. I keep in touch with a few friends from WW, but I am so glad to be back in touch via this website! Will write more later. I'd love to hear from you too! Send This Person a Message
